Nola

Nola
An early interest in decorating (helping my Mom pick out and apply wallpaper in every room of our century old farm house, and rearranging furniture when boredom struck) made it easy to choose a vocation when the perennial question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" became an imperative and a choice had to be made.
The Fanshawe College three-year design program beckoned.
An even earlier interest in sewing and creating (and years of 4H and "Home Ec"), coupled with my brand new Design Diploma brought me to a career that combined both elements. I spent nine years at Sloman's Draperies in London learning and honing my skills in the craft of window coverings, creating beautiful window treatments right from the initial design through production and completion.
In 1985 the opportunity arose to strike out on my own and practice my craft in Glencoe and the Four Counties area. With the addition of Benjamin Moore™ paints to the mix I have more opportunity to satisfy my appetite for colour and design, helping clients solve their decorating dilemmas, creating beautiful rooms together.
